Atari Asteroids App

Atari did it right when Asteroids launched and the Asteroids Gunner app for iPhone and iPad is keeping the Asteroids fans happy.  Controls are super easy with left and right side ship and shooting guidance and the asteroids themselves are just as chaotic and dangerous as ever.  Even the sound effects in the Asteroids app are welcoming to the ears of any Asteroids fan.

You have plenty of ship upgrade options that can either be earned or purchased within the app but even with the most basic nimble scout ship called The Dart, you’ll enjoy the challenges of Alpha, Beta or Gamma.  There are plenty of weapon and shield bonuses as you collect gold and extra power while blasting your way across the galaxy.  You can even upgrade your weapons, ship and power.

Overall we feel like the Asteroids Gunner app is entertaining and worth the install.  With 150 levels per galaxy you can be entertained for hours and frustrated for just as many.
