I’m a hockey fan and have been longing for a great hockey app that’s as fun to play as Madden football…but on ice. 2K Sports has delivered with a fantastic NHL 2K11 app. With easy game play following the Madden lead for thumb controls and season play preferences NHL 2K11 is worth a few bucks and will have you fighting your way to the Stanley Cup with monster hits and all the players you’d expect. Well if you love Angry Birds then you’ll probably like Tiny Wings, a great and popular new app that allows you to guide a little bird suffering from “tiny wings” across the world by sliding down hills and trying as hard as his tiny wings will let him to fly, fly, fly. After the quick tutorial that launched the first time I started tiny wings I’ve found myself spending minute after minute trying to get to the next island before nightfall. Full App Review >>
Appzilla Review
With 90 apps in 1, this AppZilla review is a whole lot of information about 90 different things but here goes. The really great thing about Appzilla is the fact that you get 90 apps for a buck (or 90 in 1 : APPZILLA FREE! ). Of course many of these apps are probably never going to get used but even with that in mind if you only use two of these apps than Appzilla was worth the buck. In a nutshell, Appzilla is full of random, interesting and odd apps including Buzzer for playing games: Red is a loud buzzer that means NO and Green is a loud ding that means YES, Grill Timer for keeping track of how long you should cook up to four slices of meat, Hearing Test with age breakdowns and khz ranges for both scientific and fun purposes to everything in between. Have you ever wanted to pay $800 for the coolest clock in the world? If you are one of the few people that has thought of doing this then I have really good news, you can just get the coolest clock in the world on your iPhone and spend the other $799 somewhere else. Super Mega Worm
Super Mega Worm builds upon the thought is a retro-style worm game with a story…apparently. Mother Earth’s last defense against extinction is the release of the Great Death Worm, Wojira. Now the name Wojira doesn’t come up on any level of Super Mega Worm but it’s good to put that in your memory bank. Super Mega Worm is truly amazing and easily one of the best dollars you’ll spend (actual is .99) on an app. Remember playing games on your original Nintendo system? Super Mega Worm is that awesome. Zombie Highway App Review
Zombie Highway is an app straight out of Zombie killing heaven…if there is such a place. You simply drive your car as far as you can before either crashing into the overturned vehicles or having it toppled by the Zombies that keep jumping on it. The further you drive along the Zombie Highway the more weapons you unlock and add to your arsenal for Zombie killing. You feel like you’re in a scene from the latest Terminator movie as you slide passed overturned vehicles to smash Zombies and get them off your car and it is awesome! Full App Review >>
