Parachute Panic Review – iPhone App

arachute Panic is one of the more addicting iphone apps available. Developed by FDG Entertainment, Parachute Panic is about helping parachutists successfully land on moving boats below. All you have to do is tap each parachutist and their chute opens up. You can slide your finger to the right, left, up or down to create wind bursts and guide your men towards the ships below or just let them go.
If you don’t get them in time they obviously don’t survive but rather than just dieing or sinking in the water, there are sharks that jump up and eat them…sharks with attitude. Beware of other “elements” that get in the way as well. Elements such as storm clouds that will fry the unsuspecting parachutist with a lightning bolt. Elements like a helicopter coming across the screen and chopping your guy to bits. Elements like random UFOs that can come by and beam up your parachutist. The free version of Parachute Panic gives you a good feel for what the game is about but it’s also currently on sale for .99 and well worth the buck.

y personal favorite aspect of Parachute Panic is the soundtrack (and the sound effects). The soundtrack is hilarious and although the paid version allows you to listen to your iPhone playlists while playing, I never do. From beginning to end this is a fun and entertaining app that is different enough from everything else in the iPhone App game category that you will absolutely love it.
Parachute Panic Tips
- You can tap the helicopter 5 times and it will blow up (and you get bonus points).
- When the “Doodler” comes on the screen tap it over and over for extra points.
- Tap the UFO before it beams your parachutist to beat it away and gain extra points.
My favorite tip is this (and get a Risk Bonus Point for doing it).
- Deploy the parachute at the last possible moment. Sometimes you end up being a little late but if you time it just right you get Risk Points for being so darn risky.
