Plants vs. Zombies is ready for your iphone and it brings all the magic of the original.  The idea is pretty simple, plants shoot things at Zombies and your job is to stop the Zombies from getting to your front door.  Plants only grow with the right amount of sunlight so you better collect the sunlight, plant seeds and stay focused on where the Zombies are and which plants kill which Zombies.

The final line of defense in Plants vs. Zombies for the iphone is the lawn mower.  Oh thank goodness for the powerful lawn mower.  It only mows one row of Zombies and is triggered when the Zombie gets close enough to your front door.  No replacements.  It’s always a challenge as your yard gets bigger and the Zombies get stronger and move forward in larger numbers.

The reason Plants vs. Zombies is so fun is the constant challenge of protecting your home.  The Zombies are fun, the ways you can stop them vary from plants that shoot stuff to tomatoes that blow up to potato sacks that stall the Zombies (and hopefully allow you to shoot them enough to kill them).  Every level adds a new flavor of excitement and you can’t help but hate the horrible, harassing Zombies.  Priced at $2.99 – Plants vs. Zombies is a fun app for your iphone or itouch.
