Shopping Cart Hero App Review

Shopping Cart Hero is so much fun and easy to play that you can’t help but want to take one more jump over and over again.  The premise is simple, you have a shopping cart and you are at the top of a hill.  Push your cart down the hill, jump in and off you go into the air.  The goal is to maintain some kind of balance so you are in a position to land and slide to accrue points and earn money.  With each jump you are scored on a combination of distance, style, height and tricks which starts to get really fun after jump 20 or 30 because you can buy some pretty cool upgrades.

The Shopping Cart Hero upgrades can be purchased with the money you earn on each jump.  You can get a helmet to stop your head from bleeding when you crash (a nice touch I might add).  You can purchase better shopping cart wheels (who knew?), a rocket booster for speed, tricks to perform and even a sombrero.  One of my favorite additions is the fact that you don’t die meaning your jumping history and jumping experience can grow and so can your bank account, although it grows very slowly if you crash every time you land.

When you purchase the upgradable bat for your rider and shopping cart, you now have the ability to swipe at the trees and plants on the ground after landing and many of the trees and plants contain $$ bonuses or just fun coconuts to hit.  The tricks themselves are typically a combination of tapping and sliding your finger certain directions and although we are talking about a stick figure in a shopping cart, it’s still pretty cool.

Shopping Cart Hero is well worth the $.99 and has that addicting quality that only comes from a game that is so simple and fun you can’t help but using it one more time.  Warning: We are not responsible for lost productivity after you add Shopping Cart Hero to your app arsenal.
