Zombieville USA App Review

Zombieville USA is any zombie killers favorite storyline come true.  Walk around killing zombies in creative and gruesome ways such as beating them with a bat, burning them with a flame-thrower, shooting them with a variety of guns or just chopping them with a chainsaw.  The cartoon nature of Zombieville USA makes it a fun game and the various levels, weapon upgrade opportunities and frustrating nature of zombies-in-volume, make Zombieville USA a great app to add.

The storyline for Zombieville USA is pretty simple.  Move left to right and get to the end of the scene without dieing to move on.  Enter each house you pass to gain bonuses which include more ammo, more money or a combination of the two.  The zombies can’t hurt you when you are in a house but that doesn’t slow them down.  The zombies come walking down the street from both directions or emerge from the ground and want to eat you.  Beat them, shoot them, burn them, chop them but whatever you do, don’t get eaten.  The sound effects are entertaining and the blood-and-guts nature of the beat down is quite amusing.

After each stage you will proceed to a weapon/health/upgrade section and you can use the money you’ve earned from going into houses, killing zombies and surviving to renew your health, gain new weaponry or save your money and wait for the next time.  The variety of weapons you can get helps to keep you motivated in playing the game and when you die, the frustration of knowing the zombies won again, makes you start over with a new conviction to beat those zombies silly.  We easily recommend Zombieville USA from the app store.  Price: $.99
